What the palm reading covers
The reading first describes what is visible: length, depth, curve and breaks in the main lines. It then connects them to traditional palmistry. The life line, head line, heart line, fate line and sun line are covered, along with the overall hand shape. A longer life line does not mean a longer life, and the reading does not diagnose health.
Which hand to photograph
In the tradition Karma follows, the dominant hand shows what you have built through effort and the other hand shows innate tendencies. The tool asks which hand you write with and which hand you photographed, and uses both when it interprets the lines.

- Spread your palm wide open.
- Shoot in a bright place so the lines are clear.
- Take a close-up showing only the palm. Including the fingers helps the hand shape reading.
